We had a great dinner here the other night, and it's right around the corner from my dad's apartment. The food was wonderful, the waitstaff were incredibly patient and helpful, and the atmosphere was cool and relaxing. Soft shell crabs with a yummy pepper sauce for me, and some kind of delicious noodles with beef for my father. Both just excellent. The crispy chicken rolls could have been a little crisper and the dumplings drained a bit better, but it was all good. The sauces were wonderful and the main dishes overshadowed the small miss in the appetizer department. Will look forward to going back!!!

Have eaten here many times and have always been very satisfied. Their food is consistently very delicious and they will cater to any request such as vegan, vegetarian, etc. The staff are very friendly. Great local spot!

The best noodle soup I've ever had! I got Korean noodle soup with soba noodles, loved the flavor and the spicyness but not the soba noodles so I asked for egg noodles instead and they were very nice about it and food came out quickly. Service is excellent. Atmosphere and ambience is beautiful and relaxed. Good for a date night but good for groups too. Amazing place.

The first time I was here, I had some soup with noodles, which I thought was so good and I went back twice. After a year, I looked forward to going back. Ordered a very common dish, Singapore Rice Noodles which was the worse I ever had...bar none! Dumplings were very mediocre. I'm from NYC area, Long Island and I can't understand how this place got such raving reviews. Is good Asian food THAT hard to find in southern Florida?

For its location, I expected a hole in the wall. When I walked inside the pink-tinted red-painted building, I was pleasantly surprised. It looked like a nice Chinese or Thai restaurant on the inside. When I read the menu, I saw a lot of rice with sauce or noodle with sauce combinations along with lots of flavors of sorbet. I know rice or noodle combinations seems to obvious at an Asian Fusion restaurant, but sometimes those combinations can seem very similar to each other without much variation. Joy Noodles & Rice is completely different. The food I ordered came out within 5 minutes, but it tasted completely homestyle in a great way. I ordered a noodle soup, and I asked for it extremely spicy. I was given some spices to make it more spicy. The meat version includes vegetables - edamame, sprouts, spinach, carrots, and tofu. It did come with a few pieces of some kind of fat though - maybe that was the chicken flavored broth? It rocked though. Great $10 lunch, especially if you love noodle soups. I think Joy Noodles & Rice really specializes in Thai food though. Next time!...

Love this Asian fusion gem tucked away on Dixie Highway. Best dumplings anywhere (the sauce makes them spectacular) and lots of great noodle-y choices. Bitter melon soup is a must-try. Disappointed that they put fish sauce in my carry-out Ramen when I ordered vegetarian .... but staff is very accommodating and will no doubt correct that for future orders if I specify. Just found this place recently and plan to go back many times.

I met Joy in 1989 when she was a server in her mother-in-laws restaurant Wattana Thai. She still remembers me by name. But aside from the incredible warmth and hospitality of this family, Joy Noodles and Rice is a wonderful Asian Fusion restaurant. Last night I brought my wife and two other couples for dinner. They had never been here before but loved every bite. We started with spring rolls and crispy calamari. The spring rolls are traditional and awesome and the calamari was so crispy it was the table favorite. We ordered the Hoisin Duck which is the best I've ever tasted, the Pad Thai (a specialty not to be missed), a teriyaki chicken dish, and the fish special. Everything was great. Most dishes are not spicy but if you like it hot ask for the chilies that you can add at the table to heat up any dish. After dinner you have to sample some of the sorbets. Passion Fruit is my favorite. So give Joy a try. I'll bet it will turn into your go-to Asian favorite.

A place that is authentic and delivers what it promises. My faves: Shrimp Pad Thai, Kyoto Cherry Rose Tea. Very good: Spicy Khmer curry (not really spicy at all) and Duck Mango Basil MUST HAVE: Lychee sorbet Awesome customer service. Parking is limited but additional parking available along street.

Joy Noodles has evolved from being an A-OK noodle joint to truly fantastic and unique in offerings. My favorites are the Chiang Mai noodles and, every once in a while, the Korean-inspired rice noodles with sesame oil and spicy seafood. The seafood is always fresh, and lately seems to be in even higher abundance. I've also enjoyed the pupus prior to take-off. The fresh rolls live up to their name, exploding with crunch lettuce and sprouts, shrimp and sweet chili sauce to accompany. They ran out of shrimp one evening and tempted us with tofu rolls, which were just as tasty. The samosas are also a wonderful find, evoking cuisine I've had at the nicest indonesian joints in SFO. The service is terrific considering it's a noodle house. Servers are always attentive and knowledgeable of the night's offerings. I followed the recommendation to have tea one evening. It was brewed at the table; piping hot, spicy and full of character, just like my partner in crime JP. The atmosphere is a bit on the odd side. I feel that this place could really step it up and go over-the-top asian with water features, screens, lanterns and heavy brocade. Joy has opted for a more minimal tone. The new age music threw me for a loop initially, but it actually suits the place nicely. Bravo, Joy. Bravo.

This is one of the best Asian fusion dining experiences I've had. My husband and I go often. Joy always comes to greet us by name. The food is consistently good quality, fresh, and flavorful. Her different flavors of sorbet are also delicious. We love her curry dishes, as well as the duck.

If you have been looking for noodle bowls for ever to no avail...they have them!!! The soup bowls with noodles must have about half a gallon of broth. Who thinks you can't finish soup? It's huge. Taste is amazing. I've had the soups mainly but have tried a few Thai dishes. Everything there is just great.

Per those who traveled here before me, its worth the visit. One star off for overcooking the spring rolls. Nice waitstaff.

My favorite is the Indonesian fried rice and I love the selection of different cuisine from all over SE Asia - adds some adventure to typical South Florida Asian food. Service is excellent and always accommodating.

Food here was not good at all. I got a beef noodle soup. Beef was tough like cardboard. Noodle tastes like it's been on the shelf for too long. The soup? Well.. the broth barely tastes like beef. Maybe I just ordered a dish from the menu that's not ordered too often. The place does have good atmosphere and the waiter attentive and friendly. However, I will not be coming here in the future.

Good food, nicely designed restaurant. Joy works the front desk so it's nice to be seated by the owner. Only issue we had was the service was very slow and they messed up our order two times. If you order take out during lunch, be prepared to wait at least 15 minutes if you don't order ahead.

This is one of my grandparents' favorite restaurants, and I'm happy that they took me here on this trip. They've known Joy for years -- since she worked at another Thai restaurant down the street, which I'd been to many times, and I must say, I like this one even better. The atmosphere is nice -- the music isn't too loud, the lights are dim and the decor is modern. The dishes have very generous portions and come on some nice plates, too -- I especially like their giant slanted-rim bowls. Most importantly, though, the food is very tasty. We shared vegetable dumplings a yellow curry with vegetables and tofu, and some noodles with vegetables which were all well prepared and very flavorful. The vegetable dumplings were my favorite -- a perfect start to the meal since they were steamed and light, and packed a lot of great flavors into just a couple of bites. The service was also very good, with Joy waiting on many of the tables and going around to check if everyone was OK. The building looks pretty unassuming from the outside -- I think it may have been a diner before -- but it's definitely worth the trip, as it's a place both young and old will enjoy.

A great fusion type restaurant serving great thai, japanese, and chinese dishes including awesome tasting noodles. We had pad thai noodles which was fabulous; the dish is made with all fresh ingredients including your choice of either chicken, beef, or shrimp. We picked the shrimp pad thai which comes with plenty of fresh shrimp (i think we counted 7 big shrimps), the smell of little pieces of scrambled eggs on the dish just made our day. We also had 2 noodles, one spicy and one plain, which tasted delicious. The restaurant has a cool decor and clean, the servers are all very friendly and attentive to our needs. The owner came chit chatting with us about local customs and vacation spots which was cool. IF you are in palm beach area, don't miss out on this restaurant, you gotta try it to believe it yourself.

Food is reasonably priced, tastes good, and the service is good. It's a really cute place and I'd definitely go back to try other dishes. I had the chicken pad thai and a garden salad with ginger dressing. So good.

I have been here at least 20 times. The food is Always Perfect. We visit friends in WPB (we live in Miami), and we always stop at Joys on the way home. Even if we are not going to see friends, we make day trips up that way just so we can have Joy's Soups. If we are feel like we are getting a cold, we see Joy. Her food is always fresh and it may just be us, but we feel better when we have her fresh soups with extra veggies! Joy always comes out and talks to everyone. She even took my son in the back to get his Sorbet! My son is 5, and loves the Miso Soup. We have eaten at many area places both here in Miami and up in the City Place area. Joy is hands down our favorite! It's only 5 minutes down the street from City Place with NONE of the traffic and parking feet from the door. You can't go wrong!

Loooooooove Joy... regular rotation for lunch. My favorite thing is they have all these crazy veggies in all their dishes ... lots of fresh edamame, sweet potatoes, cauliflower... things I typically haven't found in thai/asian foods. Everything there is very fresh and not dripping in grease. Great staff, friendly, fast service. BONUS -- seems to be a hot spot for the WPB politicos ... you never know who you'll see there. Today - Frankel AND the new Mayor!

Joy Noodle, in my experience, had the worst service I have ever had in a restaurant. My dinner partner and I ordered empanadas and they were visibly over-cooked. We asked if they would bring some not so "fried" that they were crusty and dark around the edges. The server brought the SAME DISH back and told us that the chef makes them like this and put them back on our table. We thought, maybe we are wrong. We tasted them and they tasted BURNT. We decided to leave without our main meal and they CHARGED us for the bad food. Wow. Never again!!!!!!

Joy really is a joy. Haven't had a bad dinner yet. New entrée spicy lemongrass and Ginger meatballs on udon noodles is unique and wonderful. Dessert - The Green Tea Ice cream is excellent.

Not surprised that my second review ever on Yelp is also For Asian cuisine. Although I must say that this place is really Asian Fusion. Decided to go there with my roomie on one lazy saturday evening (blame it on the annoying weather). Pretty late for dinner but could see some people. The ambiance was typical like a Chinatown brasserie with dim lights and had a very interesting choice for the instrumental music being played in the background which was a mix of INDIAN,Chinese and Thai music. We could recognize a couple of Bollywood songs in there too. We ordered the hot black Choco mint tea as we were trying our best to get out of our laziness. Initially he tea was not as warm as we expected but later on our request the server brought almost boiling but relaxing warm tea which had a nice twist of chocolate and mint. The servers were very kind enough to explain us about their special and popular dishes as this was our first time. We ordered a couple of Burmese curry dishes as we are really found of that cuisine and its hard to find good Burmese food here in SoFlo. I don't recollect their long names and right now their website is also not opening up for me to write down the exact names of the dishes but they were really very pleasing. I had my dish with chicken and was nice and spicy. Without the coconut, it had tamarind and garlic and was very tangy. The service was extremely quick and helpful. The menu has a huge variety of dishes and some very interesting choices. Definitely worth another visit. Asian fusion at its best!!

I'm always happy with my selections here. I keep coming back because I find something new and delicious each time to try! The service is top-notch and the people are friendly. The food is so good and feels cooked with love. They even found a way to make those shiratiki noodles taste delicious! Yum!! So much love for Joy Noodles! I only wish they would deliver, but the food is worth going out to get so I forgive them :)

Delicious food, relaxed and quiet atmosphere even when full, and reasonable prices. It's worth the drive over from Palm Beach and a great place to feel part of the local community. Parking is available in back and on the street. The decor is simple but stylish, offering booths along the window walls and tables in the center. It's not fancy, but it is satisfying. As others say, you choose whether you want rice or noodles, then add the type of sauce and toppings. It's fine for those who can't eat wheat, as there are rice and alternative noodles. A favorite for a low key evening.

If I could I would eat here every night. The delicious perfectly sized portions are worth the wait since everything is cooked fresh. From the spring rolls and homemade noodles to the refreshing scoop of ice cream for dessert....pineapple is my favorite! This place is the best Thai restaurant in Palm Beach County.

Can I give it eight stars? I've eaten Asian from Bali to Bangor. The menu is authentic, and the food, in spite of reviews I'm reading below, was perfectly prepared when I visited near 9:00pm at night, too. Meat and even the squid were both delicate. The other big thing, beyond huge authenticity, about Joy's tour of parts of Asia not always represented, is that day in and day out its exceptional. Every meal is a great meal and the staff is excellent. The Hin Lai Burnese Curry is a big recommend. Mee Goreng is a traditional Indonesian noodles dish that they get dead on. They also have Tiger Beer from Singapore! Nice. They import some pretty amazing teas that come on a second menu. TRY ONE!! They're an experience. Prices are more than fair, there were nearly six in wait staff for 15-16 tables, and the service was gracious and attentive. In fact, on subsequent visits, which aren't that frequent, the waiter could even remember what I ordered! For a busy busy place I'm humbly impressed. This is the hidden gem of Asian food tucked away in an otherwise dead neighborhood on Dixie. Seek it out!

I dined in at Joy by myself on a Saturday evening. Place was plenty busy but I was greeted warmly by the owner and promptly seated. Service was friendly and helpful as I was craving something spicy and ordered a dish with beef and rice with a spicy Lao style sauce. My meal was ready surprisingly quickly and was delicious! Just the right amount of spice too. Devoured every last bit. Glad I finally tried this place and will be back again to try the pad Thai and curries.

I thought Joy Noodles was decent. For a place where there is basically no Thai food, it's pretty good. I will say their menu is quite expansive and I find it really intriguing that they offer shiritaki (low carb) noodles. I almost got a stir-fry dish with these since I have only cooked them myself, but ultimately opted for the green curry. The curry itself was pretty good, a little on the mild side though. I was sort of expecting it to be spicier, but that wasn't a problem at all! There was plenty of chicken in the dish and the vegetables were cooked thoroughly. There were some sort of potato-y like veggies in this which was unusual for me since I've never seen curry cooked like that, but I just skipped out on those. Service was really friendly and it seemed like they were busy. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other dishes when I return to town.

  • Samantha H.

Overall, this place is a good option. The service was great, the portions were decent, food was fresh and well-prepared. We got the Udon noodles, which I think I'd steer clear of next time--not really the best option for a stir-fry, but that was our mistake! The tea and desserts were also really great! I'm not blown away, but it's definitely a solid choice if you're craving Asian cuisine!

Joy is my go to favorite spot for Thai food. The staff is always smiling and friendly and Joy almost always comes out to say hi to us and fill us in on the recipes. Everything tastes fresh and delish every time. I can never wait for my next visit which will tonight for take out:) if you go make sure to try out a pot of tea.

This was my first time at this small, homely restaurant and it was an amazing experience. The wait staff was super nice and very attentive. We started off with 2 appetizers: steamed pork dumplings and and order of spring rolls. They were absolutely delicious and left us wanting more! For our entrees, my boyfriend got the chicken cooked in a sweet chili sauce with steamed brown rice. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce only enhanced the flavor. I chose the beef Singapore noodles with a side of white rice. The white rice was a bit bland but I solved that by mixing it with the sauce from the noodles. It was a big bowl of noodles but it left me wanting more. It was the perfect mix of vegetables and noodles with a slight kick due to the Indian spices they use. It was an amazing first time and we will definitely be back!!

I have now been to Joy Noodles & Rice at least once a month since my first visit last August. I have to remove 2 stars due to portion size and service. I still love coming here and will continue but maybe not as often. Service has been hit or miss. Either its absolutely fabulous or almost nonexistence. Twice now I have been there where we waited over an hour for our main course and in that time needed refills of soda and wine and could not get a server to look our way. Waiting an hour for food is bad but what makes it worse is not being able to have a beverage wile you wait. Plus we would be spending more money since they charge you per soda can and obviously each glass of wine. On our last visit service was ok but the portion size of all the main dishes were dramatically smaller. I always get the same thing because I LOVE it. The chicken coconut curry. It comes with huge chunks of avocado, chicken, sugar snap peas and peppers. This last visit I was shocked at the portion size. It was half the size as before. I can always get 2 meals out of the dinner portion but that sure changed. It was so tiny it fit in a 1 cup bowl not the usual soup size bowl. My friend had the same issue. He's like me and sticks with what he loves there and always gets the Korean beef. It was dramatically smaller. I'm sure I will end up back at JN&R and I'm hoping the owner will be there. Things just seem to run more smoothly when she is present. I'm also hoping the portion size was just a fluke that night. It's not justifiable to spent $14.00 on a chicken dish that fits in a cup. I really really love the food so I hope the service and portions improve.

  • Michelle C.

The service is great. I had the Chiangmai noodle soup with chicken and it was amazing. They have fresh tea, such a huge selection. I had to get some to go and some to brew at home. I will absolutely come back here often to try new things on the menu.

This is one of my wife's favorite places so we give it 5 stars. The owners and the staff try to make your meal and dinner as pleasant as possible there's usually a wait which is no problem for us because it's a good place to eat. We come here at least every two months trying something new good feel safe is the pad thai the shrimp soba is phenomenal as well. We also like how you can create your own bowl with noodles rice or whatever. The price point is relatively fair and easy on the wallet for the quality of food you receive. I personally would like to see larger portions but we're very happy with what you get: I would love to see larger portions when it comes to the appetizers even if it means raising the price a little bit it's definitely worth it.

Love Joy Noodle! Just got take-out from there last night! My "Go-To" in the neighborhood. I love the Udon Noodle Soup - with Organic Tofu & lots of veggies. Their spicy sauce is so good! I like eating there better than take-out (feel like portions are a little smaller for anyone who eats more than my typical appetizer portion). I do wish they had traditional Ramen instead of just the noodles.

Indonesian Spicy Rice!- wow is all I have to say. It was sweet, spicy, aromatic and had a nice chunky rice texture. First time here, saw the reviews on Yelp and we had to go. Amazing. Cute atmosphere, clean colorful meals, great tea.

Run, don't walk and get yourself some of their delicious soup! While working in West Palm Beach for two weeks, I must have gone three times and each time was absolutely completely pleased with my Chiangmai Noodles Soup! Yes, its the only dish I've ordered. No, I am not tired of it!! The portion size is huge and I always say, Rachel M. there is no way you are going to finish all of this soup and go back to work--but you know what?! I finish it and start planning my next visit as I walk out the door. The soup is made with a light curry, roasted garlic, protein of choice, noodles and veggies! I don't feel guilty at all!!

This is a quaint little restaurant that has a nice intimate atmosphere and excellent service. The waitress was patient as we looked over the menu. It was very unique in that it has foods from many different Asian countries. We tried the black rice for the first time. It had an earthy but interesting taste to it and is supposed to have health benefits. The harvest curry was sweet, creamy and delicious. The brown rice they use is top quality short grain just like I have at home. The Chiangmai soup was full of the freshest of vegetables and noodles with coconut broth. The lemongrass curry was similar to a Thai red curry without the heat. At Joy Noodles & Rice they don't make the food spicy, they put the spice on the side so you can add as much as you like. The green tea Mochi was excellent and even better was the lychee sorbet. I don't think you can make a bad choice at Joy Noodles. I was glad I went family so we got to try so many things the first time.

Wow. What a fall from grace for Joy. After patronizing this place for years, I recently came to find out, through a friend who's allergic to MSG, that they use it in their food, yet they tout it as healthy and wholesome. They even confirmed it when we called them. Now today they're in the news for being cited by the department of health for 300 rat droppings in their kitchen. Shameless!

It's true they are great. All the vegetables are crisp and fresh. I've dined in and had the soup and it was what I thought... Much better served in white porcelain bowl. Healthfully restorative. Take out is still our favorite. It's almost always pad Thai and mee gorang. The summer rolls are a value and they sell out so I like that they are fresh and exclusive. The smaller soups are nice too. I like the Korean hot and sour.

I love their "comfort-in-a-bowl" with tofu and vegetables. It's tempting to submerge my face in it, but eating it is awesome too. I always come here to feel cozy and welcomed. The staff is really warm and sweet. Comfort-in-a-restaurant.

You really can't go wrong at Joy. We had the Dim Sum, Spicy Sesame Soup with chicken, a Korean Beef noodle dish, and a couple delicious green teas. Their menu has something for everyone and any tea lovers like me will be very happy. I could not have asked for more. The staff was kind and attentive, the food was perfect, and the ambience was relaxed and welcoming. I would go back again and again and I have already recommended it to tons of friends!

Mee Gorung - delicious. Great flavor and a little spicy. Usually order Pad Thai at places like this, rolled the dice and it was a winner. Vietnamese spring rolls were sold out so I went with the shrimp dumplings. Another excellent choice. Wait staff = friendly, helpful in explaining the menu, attentive.

Quick service, great tea selection!! I had the black panda tea hot and chose the Korean beef with rice noodle. I was on my way home and noticed this place so I stopped in. I'll definitely come back here if I'm in the area.

Wonderful service!!! Food came out quicker than I could imagine! My fried rice was a little bland, but with some soy sauce it was fine. Highlight of the meal was the tea. Warm and satisfying. Waiters could not be nicer. 9/10 would recommend!

I love this place! Helpful, friendly, wonderful staff. Consistent food quality. Love the mixed Asian dishes. The only place I have found that makes Chiangmai noodle soup! Which is just amazing, humongous bowl, fresh veggies, light coconut curry broth, and pick your meat.

We have been coming to Joy's since she opened. I think this is her 5th year. Very consistent. Delicioius food. Attentive service. We usually order the same because we love it so much..... Chiangmai soup and the Indonesian Spicy Fried Rice. Very filling , hot and satisfying. The wait for food s just about perfect. Not too long not too fast . When you are hungry, want a mellow atmosphere, go as you are kind of place then you cannot go wrong . my only minor fault is the wine selection is poor. I usually end up ordering a beer. Joy....I think your food is good enough to start stocking some nice wines to accompany..... just saying!

This place is SO GOOD. I am only here for a week on vacation, and am very sad that there is no equivalent to this place back home in NYC (if there is, PLEASE tell me about it!) I went to Joy Noodle twice in three days, and would have gone more if I had time or my own car. A very unique menu with lots of fresh veggies and fishes, there should be something for anyone whether you want to keep it traditional with a Pad Thai (I tried my friends, and it was very good and authentic) or be more adventurous with the Turkey Meat Balls over udon (another friend's go-to *spicy* favorite.) I had the kim-chee dumplings (a supposedly new menu item) and the korean noodle soup with shirataki instead of soba noodles. The kim-chee dumplings were AWESOME! Not overpoweringly pickled, I thought the dumpling wrapper cut the kimchee perfectly, and they were a great consistency. They came with a semi-sweet dumpling dipping sauce. They also received the approval of some friends who don't love kimchee usually. The korean noodle soup was a big bowl of fresh veggies and noodles with a mildly spicy broth. I got more chili paste on the side, but it may have been enough spice depending on your taste. Really big portion, you may even have leftovers! I also had tastes of the summer rolls with shrimp, the Chiangmai Noodles Soup, black rice and the coconut curry stir fry with shrimp. Everything felt very clean and tasted delicious. The Khartoum (spelling?) iced green tea was also awesome, and bottomless! The waitstaff and Joy, the owner, were also VERY nice and pleasant. A true "Joy"! Please open a location in NYC (wishful thinking!)

With all the good reviews on the place, I thought I would check it out. I ordered the Korean Beef, which was recommended by our server and I was a bit disappointed. While I realize the pace isn't authentic, I was expecting a fusion take on Beef Bulgogi. I came out disappointed. The beef was no where as tender as I would have liked. If you like PF Changs type food you might like this place, but once you have gone to more authentic places, it is a little disappointing.

We started off with chicken wonton soup. It was not salty like others I've had and was delicious. For our entrees, we ordered 3 dishes: Korean beef, combination fried rice and spicy sesame noodles with chicken. All were great and would order again. Service was fast and our server was very pleasant. We will return!

Overpriced and overrated Asian food- there is so much better around for such a better price. I would pass on this after having given it a few tries. It's super close to the house so I wanted it to be a great spot, but unfortunately it just failed to impress overall. The noodles are overcooked and the tofu is almost always bland. Pass on this, and seek out more authentic food elsewhere (and save your money!)

I was craving for some ramen soup. Ordered there beef ramen for $13! and when it came out it wasn't even in soup! It was just noodles with veggies and beef. It tasted ok but no soup! How can you advertise ramen and it doesn't even come in soup! The appetizer of $4 crispy chicken egg rolls were better than the entree! Disappointed.

Heard rave reviews about this place but I wasn't too impressed. The food was ok. Nothing to really write home about. The appetizer portions and dessert portion were tiny and I didn't think they tasted that great. The reason it got 3 stars from me is because the dinner portion was big and we had left overs which is rare for Asian Fusion places. I won't be back because I found a place I like much better. Also they had NO kids options. Not even one. We had to order my 3 year old a $16 adult dinner. The ice cream we ordered was the size of a silver dollar. I kid you not and the mochi I did not like at all. Yuck!

Pad Thai is as good as I've had anywhere. Many pad thai's dishes taste the same, almost as if same paste and noodles are used. Not here. Very fresh. Homemade noodles. Chicken dumplings also taste homemade and fresh. Pho with steak and Ramon w/Chicken dishes were very good and fresh tasting, but both a little bit bland.

Excellent service, great atmosphere at night (think dark, quiet, candle lit), food is pretty good. Will definitely be back!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The pad thai is my favorite. My only complaint is that they run out of Vietnamese fresh rolls a lot, and I really love them, so it's a bit disappointing when they're out. Otherwise, this play is awesome!

Food wasn't good at all. Most of the entrees were either too sweet or overlooked. We ordered five appetizers and none of them were good. The woman (seems like the boss or manager) was very rude. The service was extremely slow. Don't understand the reviews here. Not recommended at all!

Really soothing atmosphere. Great service, and the food is amazing. I suggest the spicy sesame noodles with chicken.

We were so lucky to have accidentally found this place (well, accidentally through Yelp, which is the only way to really accidentally find somewhere delicious). Even on a Friday night at 8:45, they were crowded and *just* fit us in. The unlimited green iced tea was beyond fabulous and refreshing, and we sipped it while checking out the cute and calm decor. The server was super friendly, and happily let us know that they could make pretty anything vegetarian for me, as well as switch any type of noodle with any of the sauces, making me very happy. Although they were out of the rolls, we tried the Samosas to start, and I had the Vegetarian Bitter Melon soup, having never had bitter melon. The Samosas were amazing, and the soup was beyond delicious - the broth was out of this world. Main courses were also very tasty, and very generous portions. For dessert, we shared a little red bean mochi ice cream, which of course was tasty. All in all, this has been one of my favorite Asian restaurants we've ever found, and I highly recommend it with double thumbs up for anyone who might be interested.

I am the kind person that believes if I don't have anything good to say then don't say anything. This is the worst Asian fusion restaurant I have never been to. I waited 45 min for my appetizer and I called their waitress or manager but none of them came over and explain why it took so long. Long wait isn't a problem if the food is good, but NO NO NO NO NO! Food is absolutely not authentic! We had 7 entrees and none of my friend finished it because all the noodle soup taste like plain water and other entrees are way too sweet to swallow it. The only time I saw the manager has a smile on her face is when she gave us the big fat check! I will never recommend anybody to this restaurant!

So glad we decided to have dinner here. We decided to eat here after reading so many great Yelp reviews. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. They are super vegetarian friendly and my Pad Thai was amazing. Everyone in my party cleaned his or her plate. We also had yummy Mochi ice cream balls for dessert. Seems like a popular place so you might have to wait if they are busy but it'll be worth the wait.

Heard many good reviews for Joy Noodles, but it did not quite meet my expectations. Was in the mood for Asian food and came by on a week night to dine-in. The food was just OK, nothing special or memorable. Had Edamame to start, then the Mee Goreng w/Udon noodles for my entree. I felt that although the portion was good, it was still overpriced. Overall, not bad, but not impressed.

First time at Joy! Really nice place, food was great. Not too expensive. We had soup, appetizers, and entrees for $46.00. I had the combo rice which was awesome, will definitely go back!

YUM! Joy Noodles is delicious. It was so hard for me not to go here every night after I tried it for the first time and I definitely already miss it. I had their crispy veggie pot stickers and Spicy Khmir Noodles (with chicken) and finished it all off with green tea mochi ice cream. My mouth is watering just reliving my dinner right now. Everything was very flavorful and spicy actually means spicy. The service was great as well. Super friendly and so so fast. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I would do either take out or sit down here. I don't think you could go wrong!

Whenever we are in town, we go to Joy's at least once. This is the Pad Thai in which I judge all other Pad Thai. Their hot tea selection is just enough to allow you to be adventurous. All ranges of spice and variety of noodles to please anybody.

Such a treat to have comforting, delicious and huge portions of noodle bowls. Wait staff is attentive and super nice. Prices are reasonable to. A calm atmosphere to get away while being close to Clematis of you need to be.

Lovely place and staff. The food was...fine. Sea bass was fresh and tasty but the other dishes were average. Fresh rolls, chicken salad...meh. Spicy khymer sauce not very spicy, though the homemade hot sauce was so good, we all bought to-go cups of it.

Went here as we were desperate for asian food. Got two noodle dishes which were too much. The Pad Thai was ok and I can't remember the name of the other noodle dish but got home and had a sore stomach so not sure if it was the food or just us. Don't think we will be going back just in case. Try Hao's for noodles instead.

A real, treat. Unique menu. Good food and fast. Small room, we took the Last table. A fusion of Asian menus. Go

One of my favorite places for a quick eat when I'm in town, Joy has an incredibly simple but varied menu. While I've tried a few different things, the pad thai, the Singapore noodles and the mango basil thai style sauce, all quite delicious, I keep returning to the chicken fried rice as a staple. The flavors in the fried rice are just perfect, without it being too oily or greasy. The ambiance in the restaurant is low key and quiet, which makes it a great place to go to after a hectic day. The service is great, even when I just get take out. Everyone always smiles at Joy, never had bad service.

My BF & I always pass this place when we're driving and I've always been curious to try it out and one night we just went for it - and I'm SO glad we did! The entire place has great decor and the staff was super helpful with everything on the menu - with answering our questions about each dish/level of spiciness and giving out really good suggestions. When I went, we started off with the Minced Chicken Salad .. which was really tasty, but I def thought it had way too much meat compared to the leafy greens. But I still ate it all. I ordered the Chiangmai Noodles Soup and I couldn't believe how delicious and flavorful it was. The broth was super good and the vegetables were super yummmy. Just order it! You won't regret it. I'm definitely going back for sure.. I just wish my stomach could get much more each time :)

Dined here two nights in a row once I heard about it from a friend. Drove about an hour north just to have green tea fish broth shrimp noodle soup! Teas are amazing. Little sorbets. I can't wait to go to Joy again.

We found a new "best"...this noodle/rice shop serves much more than noodle and rice dishes.difficult to choose from the vast array of items on this Asian eclectic chinese ,japanese, indonesian ,thai ,etc...my wonderful waitress helped us choose the WORLD CLASS SPICY SESAME NOODLE DISH AND THE SAUTEED MEE GORENG WITH SHRIMP OR CHICKEN...every dish was exceptional ....would ask for recomendations...You can't miss. Not just another chinese restaurant.

This place is a gem, I love it. Low lighting/candles with attentive yet unintrusive staff make this a great place for more intimate gatherings with some of your favorite people. Choose-your-own noodle/base soup or stir-fry combos make for adventurous selections that are always fresh and tasty. Enjoy with reasonably priced selection of sake or variety of aromatic hot teas offered. Top off the night with some green tea ice cream if you have room, and call the night a complete success. The only thing to note is that this place closes at 10, so come early and prepare for deliciousness!

For its price, it's pretty darn good! I was road-tripping with my family in Florida and we decided to get lunch in West Palm Beach. The place had dark tinted windows, so it looked slightly shady from the outside... but inside, there were candles, mood lighting, yummy noodles, and lots of satisfied customers! I ordered a chicken pad see ew. The dish was richly seasoned and the veggies were very tender. I was impressed by the many combinations that one could pick out - you could blend flavors, like Thai with Chinese, etc. and I loved the flexibility that it offered customers. You should definitely drop by if you're in the area!

Like a one-man law office who practice very area of law, this place does decent job satisfying average non-Asian customers. Price is reasonable, the staffs are friendly. Good for quick lunch or casual dinner. The bitter melon soup was disgustingly bitter but I loved. There are many other creative ways to serve bitter melon so it will not be so bitter. I like the concept. However, when you try to do too many things, you cannot make one thing perfect. If you want real authentic cuisine look for a restaurant that specializes in that particular cuisine.

Food was good. Service was quick. I definitely recommend the combination fried rice. Miso soup looked expensive, but came out in a big bowl, so I was pleased. I didn't think the spring rolls were worth the money though.

I wanted to try something new, and turned to Yelp! for a suggestion. This place wasn't too far from job, and based on the reviews, thought this would be the place to try. I got Chicken Pad Thai take out for about $10.50 with tax. I could tell the entree was freshly prepared and was nice and hot, how I like. The vegetables were nice and crisp, and the chicken was nicely seasoned. For the price, I would have liked something additional, like soup, but other than that, I would recommend this place.
